Ingrid Adjoa Yeboah, LL.M. Lawyer & founder of IY.Legal
Law firm for copyright law, media law, industrial property rights
One of my greatest passions is music, so it’s hardly surprising that after my state exams I became an artist manager in a renowned agency. Here I was able to combine my professional qualifications and personal interest in an optimal way and gain a comprehensive insight into the cultural and media industry.
Even today I still draw on this experience in my work as a lawyer: I have sound expertise and several years of practical legal experience in the entertainment industry. As an attorney for copyright and media law, my focus is on representing and advising artists, creative professionals, labels, publishers, start-ups, agencies and online companies.
Due to my interdisciplinary knowledge I know: Especially in the entertainment industry it is essential not to look at facts exclusively from a legal point of view, but to include business aspects in the assessment and to think “laterally”. Through this unconventional and at the same time well-founded approach, you will find me a strong partner who will help you to realise your creative projects with legal certainty.
The examination, drafting and negotiation of contracts as well as the drafting of legally compliant terms and conditions and information obligations for your homepage or platform (DSGVO) is as much a part of my range of services as is a cost-conscious and transparent implementation of the services you require. In the extreme case, I will also enforce your claims in court.
