Within the scope of this institutional opening, we established a Black community college at the community college Berlin Mitte. It is an independent “program sector of Black people for Black people“, whereat the program is defined by Black experts, participants and co-workers following the needs, contents, learning methods, learning goals and tempo decided by themselves.
The Africa Academy/ Black Community College (SVHS) consists of four pillars:
– Afro-Samstagschule (Afro Saturday School)
– Black Youth for Empowerment and Leadership
– African Women on the Winning Side
– Parenting in the Diaspora
Additionally we regularly organize public events.
